Heat Pump Cost is an independent UK project with one job: show what a heat pump would really cost to run in your home, before you talk to anyone selling one.

Most heat pump advice online either hides the maths or hides the answer behind a quote form. We do the opposite. The calculator uses the current Ofgem price cap, real regional prices and the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, and the full model is published on the methodology page.
